July 2021
New Yorkers have spoken: Eric Adams will be the Democratic nominee for Mayor in 2021. Tulchin Research is extremely proud of our work helping Eric to navigate a highly competitive and complex primary and New York City’s first ranked-choice voting (RCV) election.
Pledging to be a “blue-collar mayor,” Eric galvanized a multi-racial working class coalition to win. Running as a champion of “the justice we deserve and the safety we need,” Eric is demonstrating how Democrats can lead the fight against violent crime while simultaneously demanding accountable policing and an end to racial profiling and violent misconduct. If elected in November, Eric will become New York City’s first African American mayor in 28 years.
Tulchin Research also congratulates New York City Councilmember Mark Levine on his victory in the Democratic primary for Manhattan Borough President. Leading his city through the COVID-19 crisis as Health Committee Chair, Mark earned his reputation as “the Anthony Fauci of the New York City Council.” Mark is a strong advocate for working families and a more affordable Manhattan and we are honored to have served as his pollsters.
We extend our congratulations and gratitude to Eric, to Mark, and to all those we worked with to help win these tough races. Tulchin Research looks forward to partnering with you in the future to meet tough challenges with better data and better strategy.
