Poll: Americans Widely Back Medical Debt Relief

Following groundbreaking efforts in Toledo, Ohio and Cook County, Illinois, communities across the country are pursuing initiatives to cancel medical debt for local residents. As reported in the New York Times, a recent Tulchin Research poll finds that Americans widely back policies to relieve medical debt, favor expanding public health insurance, and support local government-led efforts to ease the medical debt burden in their own communities.
