New CA Poll of Latinos on Prop 50

As the campaign over Proposition 50 enters its final weeks and with ballots now mailed for California’s November 4, 2025 special election, Tulchin Research partnered with Tzunu Strategies to survey 1,100 Latino voters in the state and gauge their opinions toward the measure as well as other key issues including the economy and federal immigration policies. The poll results found that while Latinos presently lean towards supporting Proposition 50, they could play a decisive role in the measure’s outcome as many are still undecided and open to persuasion.

In one of the only public polls testing the official ballot language, a narrow majority (51%) said they would vote “yes” if the election were held today, including 36% who would definitely do so. Meanwhile, 31% said they would vote “no” including 24% who would definitely vote no. Nearly 1-in-5 Latinos are currently on the fence as the remaining 18% are undecided.
