Tulchin Research Applauds LA School Board Police Funding Cut
Los Angeles School District Cuts 1/3 of School Police Officers
Tulchin Research applauds the Los Angeles School Board’s vote to “cut 133 police positions, ban the use of pepper spray on students and divert $25 million to programs supporting students of color.” Tulchin Research has fought alongside the ACLU and other criminal justice reform organizations in these efforts to provide for a better learning environment for our kids, including prioritizing counselors over police officers at schools. With the largest school district in the country now on board, we hope other school districts across the country make similar reforms.
