Tulchin Research, a leading Democratic polling and strategic consulting firm based in downtown San Francisco, seeks a Project Coordinator for an immediate start. Tulchin Research provides consulting services to candidates for elected office, ballot measure campaigns, labor unions, non-profits, corporations, and foundations. We have polled on behalf of Governors, U.S. Senate and Congressional candidates and provided public opinion research for Bernie Sanders’s presidential campaigns in 2016 and 2020.
The Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Tulchin Research team on all projects from initial to final stages and everything along the way, including all aspects of qualitative and quantitative research for the firm’s clients. Duties include proofing data for accuracy, conducting background research, coordinating focus group logistics, scheduling and overseeing surveys, and drafting marketing proposals and presentations. In addition, the Project Coordinator will assist with administrative duties, including arranging meetings and travel for the President and helping with billing and bookkeeping.
This can be a fast-paced environment that requires a politically interested self-starter with high attention to detail, time management skills and strong data, communication and writing skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel Outlook and PowerPoint is necessary and experience with programming languages and database management are a plus. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in public opinion research, political campaigns, and/or a degree in political science or similar social sciences.
