Earlier this year, the Tulchin Research conducted a statewide poll of voters to assess public opinion related to the state budget and community colleges on behalf of the Community College League of California.
The League was so pleased with our work that our two organizations are now partnering to offer the same service at a discounted rate to community college districts throughout the state.
Here is what the League has to say about this new partnership:
“Let’s face it. It is no secret that the imbalance between state revenues and expenditures will continue. While the governor sought a balanced approach to “fix” the budget over the next five years, the final adopted budget likely leaves a $6-10 billion gap next year. Meanwhile, demands on community colleges will continue, particularly as CSU and UC turn more to out-of-state students and further increase tuition. While Proposition 13 limits what you can do locally, more school and community college districts will be looking to local levies to finance their educational master plans.”
As a result, they turned to Tulchin Research to figure out just such a strategy:
“We were very pleased with the work of our pollster, Tulchin Research. Today we are announcing a new partnership with Tulchin Research that will save districts 10% off the firm’s already competitive prices for their high quality work. We believe Tulchin Research is a strong partner for the League and our member districts.”
Tulchin Research is proud to help the Community College League of California and community college districts throughout the state figure out the best way to endure these tough budget years.
